Important: Bill Kit uses Apple's iCloud to store all your data locally on your device and sync across your devices. We do not store, access, or have any visibility into your invoices, client information, or business data. All your information remains private and under your control through your personal iCloud account.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Account

means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

Affiliate

means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest, or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.

Data Stored on Your Device (iCloud)

Important: Bill Kit stores all your business data locally on your device and syncs it via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to, cannot see, and do not store any of the following information:

  • Your business information (company name, address, tax identification numbers)
  • Client information (names, addresses, contact details, billing information)
  • Invoice data (services, descriptions, amounts, dates, payment terms)
  • Any other data you enter into Bill Kit

This data is stored exclusively in your iCloud account and is subject to Apple's iCloud privacy policy and security measures. We have no access to this information.

Limited Data We May Collect

We may collect minimal, non-sensitive information for app functionality and support:

  • Email address (only if you contact support)
  • Usage Data (anonymous app usage statistics)
Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

Note: Since all your invoice and business data is stored locally on your device via iCloud, we have very limited data collection. The minimal data we may use is for:

  • To provide and maintain our Service

    To ensure the app functions properly and monitor anonymous usage statistics.

    AI processing happens locally on your device. We do not send your invoice data to external servers for processing.

  • For the performance of a contract

    The development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the services You have purchased.

  • To contact You

    To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication.

  • To provide You with news and updates

    Special offers and general information about other goods, services and events.

  • To manage Your requests

    To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

  • For business transfers

    We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets.

🔒 We Don't Share Your Business Data

Since all your invoices, client information, and business data is stored locally on your device via iCloud, we have no access to this information and therefore cannot share it with anyone.

The limited anonymous usage data we may collect could be shared in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers

    We may share anonymous usage statistics with analytics providers to improve the app.

  • For Legal Requirements

    We may disclose information if required by law, though we have no access to your business data.

Retention of Your Personal Data

Your Business Data: Since all your invoices, clients, and business information is stored locally on your device via iCloud, you have complete control over data retention. We do not store this data, so we cannot retain or delete it. Your data remains on your device and in your iCloud account according to Apple's iCloud policies.

Anonymous Usage Data: We may retain anonymous usage statistics for internal analysis purposes to improve the app functionality. This data is not linked to you personally and is retained only for as long as necessary to improve our Service.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your Business Data: All your invoices, client information, and business data is stored locally on your device and synced via your personal iCloud account. Any transfer or syncing of this data is handled entirely by Apple's iCloud service and is subject to Apple's privacy policies and data transfer practices. We have no involvement in or access to this data transfer.

Anonymous Usage Data: Any anonymous usage statistics we collect may be processed at our operating offices or service providers' locations. However, this data does not include any of your business information, invoices, or client data.

Delete Your Personal Data

Your Business Data: You have complete control over your business data. Since all your invoices, clients, and business information is stored locally on your device via iCloud, you can delete this data at any time directly from the app or through your iCloud settings. We cannot delete this data because we don't have access to it.

To delete your data:

  • Delete individual items within the Bill Kit app
  • Delete the Bill Kit app from your device
  • Manage Bill Kit's iCloud data through your device Settings → iCloud → Manage Storage

Anonymous Usage Data: If you wish to request deletion of any anonymous usage data we may have collected, please contact us at support@beemur.com.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Business Transactions

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Your business data benefits from Apple's industry-leading security measures. Since we don't store your data on our servers, there's no risk of a data breach exposing your invoices or client information through us.

Your Business Data Security: All your invoices, client information, and business data is protected by Apple's iCloud security, which includes:

  • End-to-end encryption for sensitive data
  • Two-factor authentication protection
  • Secure data centers and transmission
  • Your data stays on your devices and personal iCloud account

Since we never have access to your business data, we cannot be a point of vulnerability for your sensitive information. Your data security is maintained entirely through your own Apple account security practices.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.

If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
